This came on tv one night, but I wan't a legal resident to phone in the answer. A smart person derives that a 1 can be added using the two free sticks.. A smarter one puts the 1 at the end of the numeral , making it a larger five digit number.. 36551
Whoops I didn't finish what I started with the other comment above.And I misspelled the word 'wasn't'.Anyhow, if you take the two sticks from the first 3, it becomes a 7...and alas, a higher 5 digit number ---76851.Tada.
